NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL): Current Vacancies in Modbury and Para Vista
Supported Independent Living, SIL, is support for the day-to-day tasks of living independently, delivered inside your home rather than through occasional visits. It's funded through your NDIS plan under Core Supports. Golden Horizon Services supports SIL arrangements across Adelaide, and currently has live vacancies at existing properties in Modbury and Para Vista.
SIL isn't a fixed package. How much support you receive, and at what ratio, depends on what's in your plan and what you actually need day to day. That's why we offer four different support ratios rather than one default arrangement.This applies whether you're a general SIL participant or transitioning into stable accommodation from the justice system or a rehabilitation program
What's Included
- Support with daily living tasks inside your home

Support Ratios Explained
1:3 Shared Support
One support worker shared across three participants. Generally suited to people who need regular but not constant assistance, and who are comfortable in a shared household.
1:2 Shared Support
One support worker shared across two participants — a middle ground for people who want more individual attention than 1:3 provides.
1:1 Dedicated Support
One support worker dedicated to you. Suited to higher support needs, or simply a preference for more individual living.
2:1 Support
Two support workers for one participant, generally used for complex or higher-intensity support needs.

Who Supported Independent Living Is For
SIL is only for NDIS participants with approved SIL funding in their plan, following a specific NDIA needs assessment.
