NDIS Daily Tasks and Shared Living Support in Adelaide
Daily Tasks/Shared Living covers support with the day-to-day tasks of running a household and living with others, cooking, routines, shared responsibilities, without the higher-intensity model of Supported Independent Living. It's for participants who need consistent support with daily living but not around-the-clock assistance.
This is a different registration group to Supported Independent Living (0138), and it's worth knowing the difference. Daily Tasks/Shared Living support can happen in family homes, shared households, or independent living.

How Daily Tasks/Shared Living Support Typically Starts
1
A conversation about your living situation, whether that's a family home, share house, or independent living, and what daily routine support would actually help with.
2
Matching with a support worker who fits your household, not just your individual needs.
3
A settling-in period where the routine gets refined based on what's actually working.
4
Ongoing support that adjusts as your living situation or goals change.
Daily Tasks/Shared Living vs Supported Independent Living
These two registration groups get confused often, and the distinction matters for funding. Daily Tasks/Shared Living (0115) is generally lower-intensity support with everyday routines, wherever you live. Supported Independent Living (0138) is higher-intensity, tied to specific SIL-registered accommodation, and follows a formal NDIA SIL assessment. If you're not sure which one applies to your plan, that's a normal question to bring to a call, not something you need to work out beforehand.
Who This Service Is For
Daily Tasks/Shared Living suits NDIS participants who need regular, consistent support with everyday living tasks and routines, whether they live independently, with family, or in shared accommodation. This includes participants transitioning from the justice system or a rehabilitation program, alongside general NDIS participants.
